Mdumbi offers simple & spacious accommodation - set in traditional style Xhosa huts. Level, lawn Camping sites with sufficient space - primed near the ablution block. A generous, well equipped, communal kitchen will provide for your self catering needs. Hot water showers, flushing toilets & the warm water ocean will keep you CLEAN. For snax & meals come relax under the shack tin roof, the chill out hall & restaurant, otherwise known as the "Mdumbi Cafe".

Pls NB! Mdumbi backpackers does not have a liquor licence we do NOT sell alcohol. instead,..
W e promote cultural exchange, a 2min walk, just up the road to the local 'shebeen'

Dorms - R100 p/person
Doubles - R220 p/night
Camping - R60 p/person

Pick up from Coffee Bay:
R50 - per trip.
